for youth 14+

Building upon the skills acquired in LIT 1, this session includes a brief review of the key components of leadership and program planning, plus a look at the needs of special groups, behaviour management and resume writing.

Spiral, Horizontal Line Spinning

Participants will be provided with an introduction to the Duke of Edinburgh Award, which promotes leisure activities and voluntary service, as a challenge to the individual to discover the satisfaction of achievement.

A five-day work placement in a recreational setting completes the session.
